My New York and Spring must haves!

Hello everyone!

So.. I'm going to New York.. Big Apple... NY... Whatever you want to call it, on spring break for a week and a half. I'm soo excited too go. I have never been to NY or USA, for that matter before so of course I thought of that to buy then I get over there.. And I made a little list all ready. Ha ha!

Can you feel the excitement yet?

Well here some of the hings I think, I will be getting then I get over there.

I've falling in love with Bobbi Browns makeup books and got me hooked on a few of the produkts.

The first one is the is the famous "Creamy Corrector". I've allways had a problem with undereyes circels, the skin under my eyes is super thin and my skin is very light as an overall so it dosent make it any better. So this is definitly something I HAVE to get!

Corrector is great for undereyes circels, because it have eihter a pink or peach tone to it, so it will neutralize the blue or purple underneath your eyes. Apply this with either your clean fingers or a concealer brush but blend after with your finger for a smooth and natural look.

Actually then I think about it, all these things are bacis. Well the Bobbi Brown things are definitly, but I have allways thought that the bacis are the items I want to spend a little more on, because it is things that I will use everyday so that is why all the Bobbi Brown stuff, and I'm going to get colour matched so I get the right colours, since the produkts is so pricey.

This next item is the "Creamy Concealer Kit". It contains a creamy concealer and a loose yellow-toned setting powder. The concealers job is to conceal any redness or dispigmentation. This is also applyed with eihter a concealer brush or your clean fingers around the nose, mouth and under eyes if needed after corrector. Set it with a loose yellow-toned powder for erasing redness.

The third thing is one of my favorite things! You have maybe read my Winter faves, if not, go read it! hee hee. Well I mentioned a cream blush from MAC in Lady Blush. I looove it, and want to try a new one, since they are discontinueing the one from MAC.

It is the "Pot Pouge For Lips And Cheeks". This is a creame blush and coloured lipbalm or lipstick in one! SO nice! This is great for spring ans summer. It gives the skin a natural dewy finish and will make you look fresh and awake. This is applyed with eihter your fingers og a foundation brush. I recommend applying with fingers so it will blend better. Apply on the apple of the cheeks for a fresh look.

I adore black eyeliner on the upper lashline. So This is the "Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner".
I think it looks defined but not to hars. You can build it up to eihter a super thin line or a thik line for more drama.
This is only applyed with a eyeliner bursh or a angeld brush, whatever you prefer or have laying around.

This last thing has there been soo much raving about summer 2010 on youtube.....
Do I need to say moore? It speaks for it self...

Look at thoose colours.. WOW is everything I can say! And with the amazing quality of Urban Decay it can only be good! Cant wait to get!!!! AND! You get a mini primer potion and the double ended glide on pencil in Zero and Bourbon! Yaay!

Winter faves of the moment!

Hi, everyone!

So, winter... It's almost here, or here it is...
The weather is getting so cold, and I'm going shopping for a new jacket and boots very soon.
Actually while I'm writing this I'm drinking green tea with mint and honey (yummy).

Well, this was not what I wanted to write about. It was my favorite beauty products of the moment. You see, I can't promise to update this every single month, because I tend to stick with a produckt, when I find something I like, of couse it dosent mean that I never will update my faves, it will just not be as often as other bloggers or gurus on youtube maybe.

Well here are the favorites:

First one is...

My MAC Creme Blush(or actually blush creme, but never mind :D)  in Lady Blush. (love that name!)
It has been raning very often, and rain + makeup (most powder) = not great! (it will mostly run)

So one day I wore the creme blush, and when I got home and it looked like I'd just had put it on!
And that was a good thing, as I had been looking for a souloution for the rainy-makeup problem, and it was my creme blush who could save my cheeks. It dosent only stay on for a long time, it also gives a dewy finish on the cheeks, and I personally looooove that look, also in the winter. (its also great if you have dry skin like I do, because the dry skin dosent show up with the creme on top! Cool, right?)
I got this at a Mac counter, in a city close to me, and it was about US$18.50 but I paid a little more, because I live in Denmark.

Second one is...

Im a huge fan of neutral colours, and this will always be a favorite of mine.
Too Faced Natural Eyeshadow Palette
This little box has 9 eyeshadows in natural colours. 3 matte and 6 with shimmer or glitter in them.
The thing I really love about this, is that you get 3 card with eyeshadow looks on them, so if you are a beginner, you know how ang where to place the diffrent colours, so it really looks good. Of course you dont have to follow the cards, i uscally dont, I like mixing the different colours, so I create my own look.

It also comes with a sponge tip apllicator and a small angled brush in the other end. I just use it for my brows, and mix the two matte, brown eyeshadows, from the first look called "day". I got this in Boots in London, Christmas 2009, for about 23£.

Thrid one is...

The eyeshadow primer, of all eyeshadow primers... do you know which one I'm talking about?

Urban Decay Primer Potion! (also known as UDPP)

This little purple bottle of heaven will make your eyeshadow stay on all day and night, and make the colours more vibrant as well. (well, it does that for me ;) ) And it's a sheer skintone, so you can't see it under matte colours.

I got this in a present from my famliy a while back, and it's about £ 12.

Fourth one is...

The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist just works wonders for me. It's says on the back that it's "with panthenol to soften and rosewater to refresh."
My skin get super dry in the fall and winter time, so this is great on-the-go, if you need a little extra mouistre, and do what to put lotion on. What I do is, close your eyes and mist it on your face, and it will look a little wet for a second, but it will dry in to your skin quickly. It is also great as a makeup setting spray.

I got this a while back, and cant remeber who much it was. Sorry (:

Fifth and last one is...

This is a all-time favorite for me!

Benefit High Beam - or as at lot af pepole call it: Supermodel in a bottle(and I understand why)

It is a liquid highlighter, that has a light pink tone. It's sooooooo beautiful! It will brigth up your face, ang give you the prettiest glow. I put it on the top af my cheekbones, on the brigde of my nose, and underneath my eyebrows. It looks like nailpolish, also because of the wand (it is the same as if it was a nailpolish) but that dosent matter!

I also got this as a present, not so long ago. It's about £17.50.

Well these are my most favorite makeup products of the moment, thank you for reading!

xoxo
